The house.

We’re still negotiating. We’ll see!

Oh, hi.

Hi, Jeremy.

Hi there, Kathleen.

What do you want to do tonight?

Let’s go see Iron Man.

Okay! xoxo!

Scooty’s favorite part of the day is attacking Jeremy’s feet in the morning when Jeremy is putting his socks on. I think he especially loves these socks because they look like him. And Scooty loves nobody more than he loves himself.

This means war. I think I’m going to have to put SoftPaws on his teeth.

Wine Research

May 20, 2008

There are many perks to my job. When I designed the season brand for the NBA Hornets for their 2007 season a big perk was going to dozens of games and filming the Coach. A perk that is a little more taken for granted would be the fantastic view of downtown from our warehouse loft space.

My current perk is wine research.

I’ve been given the task to design a wine label for my company. Liz is going to come over to join me – as she is the copy writer on the project.

I think we’re going to have a good time doing research on this one.

Eight bottles of wine and only one cork! Those weird spiral peel-off stoppers are a new thing for me. I guess that’s what happens when you drink box wine exclusively for six months – you miss out on important advancements in wine technology.

The Cube

May 20, 2008

I might have to trade in the xB for the Cube.

From Wikipedia:
In January 2008, Ishiro Nakamura, Nissan’s global design director stated that the Cube will be coming to the U.S. market. The U.S.-bound Cube will get 37 MPG and will be equipped with “e-4WD”, which includes an electric motor operating (when demand dictates) alongside the gasoline engine. The Cube’s U.S. release is scheduled to occur in early 2009.

I really like how the back opens like a door and not a hatch, and how the rear window turns the corner, but only one corner. I love asymmetry in automobiles.

I just hope it’s not quite as big as the xB – it somehow seems like it would look better that way.
