Watching: Documentaries

August 1, 2011

There’s little I love more than watching a good documentary – it’s this perfect combination of voyeuristic, slice-of-life narrative that has the power to shake up my ever evolving world view. From birthing babies at home to Helvetica being the most perfect font ever, I love a story with a point-of-view on a topic, large or small, that is then dissected from every angle.

When I posted about juicing I mentioned the documentary Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. A lot of you had already seen this film as well and reader Jessica asked me to list some other documentaries that had captured my eye. Above is a compilation of ones I have seen recently as well as ones that I would watch over and over again.

What documentaries would you add to the list? Have any documentaries completely changed your outlook on a certain topic?
