I talk a lot about what it means to be a creative entrepreneur and how to be a working creative – here, there, over there, and there. But what you might find interesting is that even though we do more than just teach and write about being creative we don’t have any semblance of a portfolio of our branding work over at Braid Creative. Why? We want to be known for our Braid Method – not just the end result. The value of what these creatives get from us isn’t always tied up in the final brand identity and logo design – it’s in the defined vision and collaborative Method that got us there. Tara and I have practically become business model builders for other designers, coaches & consultants, and photographers – but through a branding lens vs. a financial spreadsheet. Right now we’re re-writing and blueprinting our new website to launch this Fall / Winter. It may include something like a portfolio – we have found a need to better show our tell. But for now I wanted to share some of the brand identity and design work the Braid team, including me, Liz, Kristin, and Tara, have all spent countless hours (because we hate tracking our time) creating for some pretty spectacular creative entrepreneurs:
Braid Creative & Consulting is:
Tara Street | LEFT BRAID: logic & emotion weaver / method-making solver
Kathleen Shannon | RIGHT BRAID: look & feel shaper / work & life sharer
Liz Fabry & Kristin Tate | SIDE BRAIDS: art direction, design & copy / calm & cool / helpers & guides
How you can hire Braid Creative:
Brand & Business Visioning it’s like visual business planning through a branding lens
